Welcome to the School of Business

Internship Program!

The Internship Program in the School of Business (SCOB) is designed to provide career development experience to students in the following majors: Accounting; Hospitality and Tourism Management;  and, International Business Management.

Participation in an internship allows you to combine an on-the-job career learning experience with related academic course work to complement the total educational experience, thus allowing you to acquire work experience which can be used in pursuit of a career. Many interns are offered fulltime employment by their employers upon graduation. An internship experience can offer you opportunities to:

  1. Help pay for your education.
  2. Test your interest in, and suitability for, the occupation or career for which you are studying.
  3. Acquire work experience in your major field of study.
  4. Enter the job market above the entry level.
  5. Complete some of your college credit requirements through actual work experience.
