HTM info goes here.

Welcome to the HTM Department.

The Hospitality and Tourism Industry is the largest industry in the world in total sales and total employees. The industry is a key economic factor in much of the Pacific Basin and Asia, major sources of the university’s students. There is a continuing and growing demand in this industry for persons with a broad range of academic and professional skills. The Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) program is designed to prepare students for positions of responsibility in hotels, resorts, food service operations, cruise ships, clubs, cultural and recreational attractions, convention and visitor bureaus, and tourism development agencies.

To earn a Bachelor of Science degree with an HTM major, students complete the School of Business core requirements, an HTM core, and then pursue a “track” in either Hospitality or Tourism Management.

The HTM professors have had many years of industry experience. They are well qualified to help you succeed academically and to prepare you for a successful career. In addition, a close relationship with the Polynesian Cultural Center provides students with exposure to one of the most unique tourist attractions in the world.
